Criteria to open a blog on Hypotheses

Opening a blog is free. The platform is open to the entire scientific community in the humanities and social sciences (researchers, research teams, doctoral students, engineers, library and documentation professionals, institutions, etc.).

To open a Hypotheses blog, you must provide a clear editorial and scientific project description, as well as an academic affiliation (research laboratory or institution, university, scholarly society, etc.). Application requests are evaluated by the Hypotheses team, which answers to the platform’s Scientific board.

Some editorial projects may not be accepted.

For example, the publication of a journal will be rejected, as the publication of private posts. Showcase websites or anything unrelated to the humanities and social sciences will not be accepted. Similarly, blogs whose sole purpose is to publish announcements of scientific events, CVs or political opinions will not be accepted.

Please note that only the future editor-in-chief, who is the blog’s legal representative can submit the form and apply.
The form is divided into several steps and requires a certain amount of time to enter your information. We advise you to prepare it beforehand, using the PDF version of the form
